Contracts Administrator - $30M Project - Ipswich
This well established builder is a leading construction company with a reputation for excellence in delivering high-quality projects across retail and commercial projects in QLD and VIC.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Administrator to join an exisiting team on an exciting $30 million project located near Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a significant project. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from procurement to final accounts.
This role offers flexibility, with the option to be based either on-site at the project near Ipswich or at our Head Office in Southport.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full procurement process, including preparing and issuing tender packages, evaluating submissions, and awarding contracts.
- Drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Processing variations, progress claims, and payment certificates accurately and on time.
- Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.
- Liaising effectively with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders.
- Resolving contractual disputes and issues efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator on medium to large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian construction contracts
- At least 6 years plus as a Contract Administrator
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant project management and accounting software.
- A degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field is highly desirable.
