Cabinet Maker - Joinery Assembler (Factory-Based - Armidale)

About the Role
A well-established commercial joinery and furniture manufacturer is seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinet Maker to join their Armidale-based factory team.
This is a factory-based role focused on the assembly of high-quality custom joinery items using pre-machined components. Materials are delivered to the workstation fully edged, drilled, and ready for assembly. No cutting or machining is required.
This position does not involve any on-site installation. All work is completed within a modern, well-equipped manufacturing facility.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble pre-machined joinery components to detailed specifications
• Work with both standard and curved laminated components
• Read and interpret shop drawings and assembly instructions
• Ensure all assembled items meet high quality and finish standards
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently (tools can be provided)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Collaborate with factory team to meet production timelines

 
Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in cabinet making or joinery assembly
• Ability to read and follow shop drawings
• Familiarity with curved laminated components
• Skilled in using hand and power tools
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift licence (not essential)
