The Company

You will be joining a head contracting business founded and headed up by passionate, dynamic Directors who come from Project Management background and successfully set up 9 years ago. The company offers design and construct (inhouse) services to a list of repeat clients delivering modern workplace solutions, health and educational (gov) and a steady amount of repeat for work for City of Sydney

You will work hand in hand with the director who spent 10 years working in tiers one and two builders before starting this company. Being boutique in nature they have time to spend with this hire and are confident within a 12-month period that someone will be running their own projects.

Both directors are from a Project Management background so have development and implement first class systems that are tried and tested.

The offices are based on the fridge on the CBD and within reach of city train stations

Position

Duties will be all encompassing from looking at strategy, pricing, design management and delivery. You will be involved in everything that the director is involved in. You will receive daily mentoring and training working in a down to earth and collaborative environment.
  
This will be a client facing position and you will be expected to help run PCG meetings alongside the director.
  
Ideally we are looking at someone that has completed a degree and has a few experience that is ambitious and committed to progressing into Project Manager
  
Salary will depend on experience but figures of $90K - $110K
  
Quals / Skills
  • Construction Management or related degree
  • 2-3 yrs post graduate  experience working in commercial construction
  • Ability to negotiate and liaise with subcontractors and clients
  • Understanding of how to scope packages
  • Be confident running meetings with stakeholders
  • Highly developed IT skills (software packages include Buildsoft and Build logic)
