Job description

CGC Recruitment are working with a leading high-end residential builder delivering projects across the Eastern Suburbs. They are currently looking for a Contract Administrator to join their team and play a key role in the successful delivery of their luxury residential projects.

As Contract Administrator, you will be a vital link between the project team, subcontractors, consultants, and clients, ensuring smooth contractual processes and commercial compliance from pre-construction through to project completion.
You will be responsible for administering building contracts, managing documentation, and supporting project teams with procurement and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, issue, and administer construction contracts and subcontractor agreements
  • Assist in tendering and procurement processes
  • Review and track project budgets, variations, claims, and extensions of time
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all project documentation and communications
  • Liaise with site teams, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, timelines, and deliverables
  • Prepare regular commercial and project status reports for management
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator role within high-end residential or commercial construction
  • Excellent organisational and document management skills
  • Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in project management and document control software
