We are currently seeking a proactive and driven Safety Coordinator to support day-to-day HSE operations and foster a strong safety-first culture across site teams.
About the Role:
You’ll work closely with the project safety team and site leadership to implement, monitor, and continuously improve safety practices in line with both company standards and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of HSE management systems and procedures
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety audits
• Support investigations and reporting of incidents and near-misses
• Engage with subcontractors and workers to drive HSE best practices
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project-specific requirements
• Contribute to safety reporting and trend analysis

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in WHS (minimum)
• 2+ years’ experience in a safety role within civil construction or infrastructure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently at all levels
• Proactive attitude with a genuine commitment to safety
• Experience on large road or infrastructure projects (highly desirable)
