You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient financial and contractual management of their projects, working closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and management of subcontractor contracts and purchase orders.
- Reviewing and processing subcontractor claims and progress payments.
- Managing variations and extensions of time.
- Assisting with project cost control and financial reporting.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding contractual matters.
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Assisting with the preparation of head contract progress claims.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction industry
- Experience working on projects from $5M to $20M
- Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse range of construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian construction contracts
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Cheops, Jobpac, Aconex, Procore)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is highly regarded.
