Job description

The Company
  • Gain exposure to hospitality, education and commercial fitout projects valued to 15M
  • Work under an industry veteran in a hands-on position within a company with a flat structure
  • You will learn all aspects of Construction. From Contracts Administration, Estimating, Design and of course, gain valuable on-site exposure.  
  • You will work closely with one Project Manager who will be your mentor providing on the job training to achieve career success
You will support the team and gain exprience in the following areas
  • Liaising with all trades and suppliers
  • Liaising with Client/Project Superintendent
  • Attending meetings with Clients/Project Superintendent onsite
  • Effective communication with other team members
  • Cost management of trades through construction process
  • General administrative duties
  • Document control
  • Processing and review of invoices/progress claims
This is full time position that will be paying between $80K – 110K depending on experience.
  
Ideal Background / Skills
  • Construction Management degree or construction or engineering  related
  • Have already gained a few years of practical experience working on commercial projects working in the tier two or three market
  • Highly developed IT skills and be accustomed to using systems in mid-tier building companies  
  • Desire to progress towards a Project Manager
