  • Medium sized builder delivering fitout and refurbishment projects to the corporate real estate, educational and health sectors .
  • Offices in Sydney and Melbourne they currently employee a dedicated team of 80+ and are turning over in excess of $100M
  • They are a service driven business with many clients becoming with them since inception.
  • They deal with tier one consultants and subbies
The Position
  • With a busy workload continuing for the remainder of 2023 we are helping recruit a Contract Administrator that comes from a strong commercial background.
  • Projects will range from $1M - $15M
  • Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams you will be responsible for overseeing projects from procurement stages through to final accounts including assisting with monthly payments, forecasting and budgeting
  • This is an office-based position in the CBD working in a social, down to earth culture that fosters personal and professional growth  
Background / Skillset
  
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience with a medium sized head contractor in Sydney  - fitout  / refurb projects (particularly targeting education, health and aged care)
  • Strong financial management experience and well-rounded business acumen
  • Help run internal meetings monthly to management around financials / projects
  • Strong industry network (designers, engineers, client side PMs etc), active participation in industry groups.
  • Experienced end to end in the project life cycle from cultivating opportunities > scoping > pricing > negotiation > delivery

Salary will in line with experience however expectations are in line with $120K  - 140K + super
