Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret construction contracts, identifying key terms and obligations, and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline constraints.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and other contractual documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the procurement of materials and services, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and procurement policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including workplace health and safety.
- Resolve any contractual disputes, claims, or variations in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contract variations, payment certificates, and project correspondence.
- Provide regular reports to project managers and senior management on project status, budget, and compliance issues.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction contract administration
- Knowledge of construction contract law, procurement, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations, including workplace health and safety.
