CGC Recruitment have again partnered with one of their longstanding clients, who are a leading National Civil Contractor who deliver complex infrastructure projects right across Australia. Their key areas of focus includes, Transport infrastructure (Road & Rail), Deference and Renewable Energy (Solar & Wind-farms).
As of internal restructuring within the business they have identified the need for a Project/Construction Manager to initially take over and deliver an existing project and then become an essentially part of the Senior Leadership Team and help grow the QLD business. The role will involve leading a team of construction & engineering professionals to deliver a complex scope of works which includes; Civil, Structures, Drainage, Building, Finishing Works. The position will involve being responsible for the development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverable, commercial and procurement arrangements.
The project is based in regional QLD and is set on a 10/4 FIFO roster from Brisbane with travel in the clients time both ways and project will run for approximately the next 6 months. After the project is finished the position will relocate back to head office in Brisbane as part of the senior leadership team so the role offers full time permanency and not just a project role.
We are actively looking to speak to experienced leaders in the Civil Construction industry who posses the following criteria::
- Minimum 15 years Civil Construction experience
- Must have a familiarity of both Civil and Building Construction
- Tried & Tested Delivering project over $100ml
-Strong Leadership Skills and the ability to manage up
- Happy to work on a FIFO basis in a camp environment
