This global civil tier 1 contractor are acknowledged as a leader in their industry and a company that attracts and retains their staff. They have recently been awarded a landmark infrastructure project close to Sydney CBD and are in the the process of adding to what is already considered a progressive and industry leading team.
The Role
On a day to day basis your role will focus on sub-contract management, contract management and commercial management. Within these three areas you will assess claims, negotiate variations, report forecasts, assess tenders, prepare cost plans and assist with estimating and auditing.
This is a senior position which will report directly to the general manager and will play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial aspects of the business unit.

Working for a major global tier 1 civil contractor this opportunity has been created for an experienced Commercial Manager to join this project team.

Skills and Experience
- A bachelor in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
- Previous experience working on road construction projects (RMS) would be highly regarded
- Road / tunnelling experience is desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience delivering high quality projects - specifically within Road and tunnelling
- A sound knowledge of contractual requirements
