CNC Machinist - Okuma Specialist

Location: Perth (North of the river)
Rate: $56.25hr
Hours: 6:00am - 3:00pm
Contract: 6-month contract with view to permanent

A leading hydraulic manufacturing company North of the river is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with proven experience operating Okuma CNC machines. This role is ideal for an independent operator who can confidently set, program, and run machines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Okuma CNC machines for precision component manufacturing
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Perform quality checks and adjustments to ensure accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily targets

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience with Okuma CNC controls
• Ability to set and program machines independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Trade qualification in machining or equivalent experience
