CGC have partnered with a Mid-Tier Civil Contractor to source Civil Project Manager to lead the delivery of a number of recently awarded project in SE QLD. This organisation is an Australian owned business who have been operating in QLD for the last 30 years. They are looking to grow exponentially over the course of the next 5 years and have recently hires on some key personnel in their management team to drive the business to the next level. They are a company that wins work based on a reputation for delivering quality outcomes and operate in the following areas, Water, Wastewater, Pipelines and Utilities relocation.
As of continued project wins they are urgently looking for a self motivated and driven Project Manager to join the business on a permanent basis delivering projects exclusively in and around SE QLD. Reporting to Senior Management you will have full project accountability which will include, management of labour & subcontractors, put together cost effective strategies to ensure project time frames are met, involved in early works and site development, implement safety and environmental strategies and have full commercial responsibility of the project including variations and claims.
The role will have x2 direct reports in that of a Project Engineer and a Graduate so we are looking to speak to PMs who are not only technically proficient but also who are great communicators who are capable of managing a small size team. The job will offer the right candidate an opportunity to work within close knit team of dynamic infrastructure professionals with a secure pipeline of work in SE QLD for the next 5 years.
- Minimum of 8 years post graduate experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Must possesses experience in the delivery of water/utilities based projects
- Driven and self motivated with excellent communication skills
- Prior experience working for a T2/T3 Civil Contractor
