Job description

This national civil contractor focus on the delivery of Road, Rail and Defense projects and are growing rapidly across the Eastern Sea board. They have recently been shortlisted on a number of projects both in the Road and Defence sectors and have identified a need for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a $20ml project in Central QLD.

You will be responsible for taking a lead role in the delviery of the project and be responsible for the development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverables, commercial and procurement arrangements. Scope of works include bulk earthworks, asphalt & pavement demolition, drainage and concrete. 

As of the nature of the project we are looking to speak to Project Manager who have a proven background in the delivery of Defence projects in a civil construction environment with exposure to bulk earthworks, patching repairs, pavement widening & extensions utilities relocation.

Our client are looking to set up interviews next week with contract award and site mobilization expected towards the beginning of July. The role will be based on a 10/4 working roster with accommodation, travel and allowances to be paid by the client on site.
