Business Development Manager – Fit Out Industry  
 
The Position – Business Development Manager (BDM)
 
Natural flair for sales? Hungry? Driven? Passionate and have an understanding of the commercial fit out market?
 
We’re looking for a BDM to bring in a mixture of new and repeat business with an attractive (above industry standard) commission structure. The guys have been so generous in their salary and package on offer; I’ve met the team, there’s a true collaborative, healthy work environment and the owner wants to see you do well.
 
The role will involve:

• Business development
• Nurturing existing clients and seeing where you can generate repeat business
• Lead generation
• Selling the business
• Working with government panels for repeat business
• Opportunity to bring in your own business with private clients
• Represent the brand
• Networking events
• Prospecting
• Working closely with estimating team   

Desirable Criteria
 

• Experience working in the interior fit out industry previously
• If not from a direct competitor they will also consider commercial real estate, furniture / joinery sales
• Confidence and personality
• Want to get out and meet people
• Understanding of the interior fit out market
• Want to earn money
• Buy into the brand and proudly represent the business
• Be dog friendly (x2 office dogs)
