Boilermaker / Welder - Sydney (Prestons)

An established engineering and fabrication business is seeking experienced Boilermakers/Welders to join their expanding team in Sydney's south‑west. With a strong pipeline of marine and industrial projects, multiple positions are available with immediate start.

About the Role

• Carry out welding and fabrication across carbon, stainless steel, and aluminium.
• Work on maintenance and repair projects for specialised equipment and structures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Conduct inspections and testing to meet industry standards.
• Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualified Boilermaker/Welder with minimum 2 years' industry experience.
• Confident across multiple welding techniques and materials.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to PPE protocols.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week with a reliable work ethic.
• White Card and Driver's Licence required.
• Additional tickets (Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift, Fire Sentry) highly regarded.
• Must be able to obtain National Police Clearance; Defence clearance advantageous.
