The Role

This is a leadership role within an established and high performing Geotechnical Team.  You will work across multiple projects but will have a predominant focus on transport infrastructure (road, rail and highways).  You will report into both the Geotechnical Team Lead and the NSW Transport Leader.  You will therefore have direct access to Senior figures within the industry.

The Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Direct people management of a team consisting of 7 Geotechnical Engineers and Geologists of all levels
• Performance reviews
• Some business development
• Allocation of resources to projects
• Some hands-on design work but you will play a key role in all projects being delivered to a successful outcome for all stakeholders

The Requirements

To express your interest in this rare opportunity you will be able to demonstrate:

• Team leadership experience OR an individual with extensive experience of leading large projects and looking to take the next step in their career
• Strong Geotechnical Engineering background within a consultancy environment
• Additional Geological experience would be seen as highly advantageous
