Responsibilities:

Manage design teams in the development of design solutions to planning, application and approval
Administration of large, complex building contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions
Assist with the compilation of tender documents, and critically reviewing tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting
Initiation and development of project documentation, programmes, master budget etc
Select and maintain a robust document management system so that the project team uses it to document project execution and
Direct consultant teams to ensure that the contractor’s design and built product is done in compliance with the contract

Requirements:

Commercially astute Engineer or qualified Program Manager, Project Manager or similar (APMP etc.)
Experience in delivering projects in construction environments
2+ years’ post graduate experience including experience of leading inter disciplinary design interfaces for rail projects
Diverse rail experience i.e. track, stations, rail facilities experience
Sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures
Experience of working in a tendered project services environment and
Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
