This presents an excellent opportunity to join a growing business in its early stages. The director you'll work alongside boasts two decades of experience with both tier 1 builders and developers—a unique chance to learn from a seasoned professional.
Your initial tasks will involve early design, financial modelling, feasibility studies, DA & engaging with councils and investors to procure developments for high-end duplex builds in the Eastern suburbs & North Shore with a construction cost ranging up to $50M.
Opportunity
As the company expands, there's potential to join as an Assistant Development Manager, working closely with the director and experienced Development Manager.
Initially, you'll focus on early design and financial stages, gradually taking on responsibilities for every aspect of the development process. A passion for architecture and experience in delivering high-end residential projects is essential for this position. Those with a design/architectural background will be given preference due to the emphasis on attention to detail. If you have 2-3 years in Project Management with a consultancy this would also be an ideal opportunity to learn the development process.

Responsibilities
As the right hand of the Director and Development Manager, you'll handle various tasks, including:
- Managing costs and contractual matters.
- Engaging with investors, clients & design consultants
- Initiating, reviewing, analysing plans, and overseeing contract closures.
- Effectively communicating with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (preferred), Construction Management, Engineering, Property Management/Development, or similar field.
- 2 years minimum working in the construction industry as a Project coordinator, Contracts Administrator, Estimator, APM, or ADM.
- Residential experience preferred
- A good attitude!
