Warehouse Officer 

Full-Time | Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics

A global leader in rail infrastructure solutions is seeking a Warehouse & Rail Operations Coordinator to manage daily operations at a key Queensland rail facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and can balance warehouse coordination, rail logistics, and office-based operational control.
You’ll play a central role in keeping freight, inventory, and rail movements running safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting both operational and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day warehouse and rail yard operations
  • Manage inbound and outbound freight, including rail wagon loading/unloading activities
  • Maintain accurate inventory control, stock movements, and system transactions
  • Liaise with rail operators, transport providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee documentation, dispatch paperwork, and compliance records
  • Support safety, quality, and operational procedures across the site
  • Assist with scheduling, contractor coordination, and general site administration
About You
  • Experience in warehouse, rail, or transport operations
  • Strong administrative and documentation skills
  • Understanding of inventory systems / ERP / WMS
  • Ability to work in a structured, safety-focused industrial environment
  • Confident communicator who can deal with drivers, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Self-sufficient, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
