Overview:
Working for the client, this an opportunity to put your mark on the redevelopment of Sydney’s most iconic and exciting transport, property and tourism hub.
You will act as the main point of contact and interface between the project itself and all third party stakeholders. These include utilities, property owners and land owners.
In particular, we are looking for somebody that has demonstrated experience managing utilities stakeholders on highly complex, brownfield rail/road and city shaping urban renewal projects.

Requirements:
- 10 years’ + experience in the engineering construction field, ideally with the majority of professional experience in working with utility assets in NSW
- Tertiary qualifications in civil/structural/mechanical engineering or related disciplines
- Experience leading and managing technical teams, as part of a much larger inter-disciplinary team
- Experience working on highly complex brownfield projects
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Highly developed verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in dealing with commercial and contractual matters
- Motivated, self-starting and forward thinking, willing to take the lead to resolve complex technical issues
Beneficial Requirements:
- Mix of experience working for contractors, design houses and on client-side
- Experience working on large, public and city-shaping urban renewal projects
- Maritime design and engineering experience
- Rail design and engineering experience
- Experience working in accordance with prescribed engineering systems and engineering assurance frameworks
- Understanding of complex staging and configuration management of projects through delivery in a live operating environment
- Experience with digital engineering methods, including integration of time, cost and asset information with the building information model
- Experience in the management and delivery of infrastructure projects with elements of operations and maintenance service contract models
