Job description

Our client was established in 2020 as a statutory state-owned corporation and is the legal owner of an extensive portfolio of railway assets, including track, signals, power systems, rolling stock, stations and platforms and significant land holdings around stations within metropolitan and regional NSW.

The Opportunity
Joining the People & Culture team, you will be responsible for providing end to end recruitment support for the recruitment function. You will play a key role in enabling the team to attract and source top talent.

Key accountabilities:
  •  Review, shortlist and phone screen to identify qualified candidates for advertised roles.
  • Finalising reference checks and any other employment checks which may be required.
  • Researching and preparing interview guides based on the role descriptions.
  • Ensuring all candidates are provided timely feedback and all candidates have positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  •  Assist with reporting, updating recruitment templates and look for ways to streamline and optimise the recruitment process.
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews with candidates and required employment screening documents.
  • Liaising and managing calendar invite for hiring manager on the interview panel.
  • Timely booking of meeting rooms, ensuring technology set up for interviews and other ad ad hoc meetings where required.
Key knowledge and experience:
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
