Summary

CGC Recruitment are working in collaboration with a well established, privately owned Commercial & Industrial building head contractor who have recently been awarded new projects and as a result, are seeking a Project Manager to play a key role within the business.

Our client are a Commercial & Industrial head contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors including education, community, industrial & civic projects. 

They have been established over 20 years in Perth, with long standing client & sub contractor relationships & pride themselves on providing excellent work life balance, with no weekend work with their staff. 

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects ranging from $3 million to $15 million. You’ll be responsible for managing the project from start to finish, including client liaison, design coordination, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.
Working in close collaboration with an experienced Construction Manager and support from a well resourced site delivery team. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project delivery from pre-construction through to handover
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure project expectations are met
  • Oversee contract administration, procurement, and reporting processes
About You
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Manager role within commercial construction
  • Proven track record delivering projects in the $3M–$15M range
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of construction contracts, programming, and cost control
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
