The Project
This major infrastructure project involves:
- Construction of a new three-lane bridge with associated ramps, abutments, and temporary works
- Conversion of an existing bridge into a pedestrian and active transport link
- Construction of a new signalised intersection
- Delivery of a sub-arterial road connection to the new bridge
As the Site Superintendent, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project. You will oversee the contractor and subcontractors on site to ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing contractors and subcontractors through day-to-day construction activities
- Monitoring safety, quality, program, and budget performance
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Liaising with clients, government bodies, consultants, utility authorities, and the community
- Maintaining accurate project documentation including RFI’s, EOT’s, daily reports, and progress claims
- Assisting the Project Manager with reporting, scheduling, and stakeholder communications
The Requirements
To be considered, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Superintendent on civil infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, or transport works preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental management practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage contractors and resolve on-site issues effectively
- Full working rights in Australia
