The Company

This highly regarded civil engineering consultancy has a strong presence across NSW and a track record of delivering complex road, bridge, and infrastructure projects. With continued growth and an expanding portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join their team on a major civil infrastructure project.


The Project


This major infrastructure project involves:

  • Construction of a new three-lane bridge with associated ramps, abutments, and temporary works
  • Conversion of an existing bridge into a pedestrian and active transport link
  • Construction of a new signalised intersection
  • Delivery of a sub-arterial road connection to the new bridge
The Role

As the Site Superintendent, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project. You will oversee the contractor and subcontractors on site to ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing contractors and subcontractors through day-to-day construction activities
  • Monitoring safety, quality, program, and budget performance
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Liaising with clients, government bodies, consultants, utility authorities, and the community
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation including RFI’s, EOT’s, daily reports, and progress claims
  • Assisting the Project Manager with reporting, scheduling, and stakeholder communications
Some night and weekend work may be required due to the nature of the project.

The Requirements


To be considered, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Superintendent on civil infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, or transport works preferred)
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental management practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage contractors and resolve on-site issues effectively
  • Full working rights in Australia
