CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source a Project Engineers to work on an initial 6 contract basis around the Western region of Brisbane. 

The project will consist of Road-Rehab packages as part of Flood Recovery works in the local area so scope will include, clearing, excavation, re-lining, drainage works etc. Reporting to the Project Manager you be responsible for; preparing, schedule, perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. You will be the Engineering rep on site and although you will get good support from the Project Manager we are looking to speak to self-motivated Project Engineers who can run jobs with limited supervision.

The positions are based a 30 minute drive from Brisbane with contract length expected to be 3-6 months so will Site based Project Engineer in between contracts or overseas engineers looking to gain local experience in Australia.
