CGC Recruitment are working in partnership with a well established and highly reputable builder who have a newly created opportunity for a Site Services Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. 

Our client have recently picked up a high profile, 5 star Greenstar accredited commercial building in the heart of Newcastle and require a Services Engineer to play a key role on the project by liaising with the foremen and construction team on site to manage and coordinate the services on site.

In the position of Site Services Engineer you will be responsible for;

• Coordinating the services on site - Mechanical, Fire, Hydraulics, Electrical, BMS, Security etc,
• Building relationships with the sub contractors on site
• Attending design meetings
• Assisting with tenders
• Overseeing the QA

The successful candidate will have strong building services exposure, ideally with a background in HVAC / Mechanical Services. You will have coordinated with other services on site and worked in either a Project Engineer / Project Manager capacity within a mechanical sub contractor or alternatively have prior experience working with a reputable builder in a Services Coordinator / Services Engineer capacity.
