Job description

  • Mixture of D&C and open tendered work - $20M
  • Hands on, supportive leadership team
  • Mixture of CBD and Suburban work  
The Company
  • One of Sydney’s leading medium sized fitout/refurb builders working in the commercial, private educational and medical sectors delivering design and construct projects valued to $20M.
  • They have a supportive and robust exe leadership team and 5 project teams with capacity to deliver up to 10 projects concurrently
The Position
  • Deliver a project valued from $5M - $10M, this includes complex refurbs, high spec fitouts and smaller new build projects
  • Work closely with a supportive Project Manager and Contract Administrator to deliver project milestones
  • All sites work towards the highest level of safety and sub contractor management to ensure quality and a safe working environment is achieved
  • You will have regular contact and receive mentoring from a veteran Construction Manager who is highly respected in the industry  
  • We are looking for someone with heavy refurb / construction experience that can oversee their larger and more complex projects
You will be rewarded with a salary that is between $160K - $170K
  
Background / Experience
  • Trade background ideally with some commercial new build experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships with project stakeholders and manage personnel to operate cohesively within a team environment
  • Strong technical, planning & programming skills
  • Extensive knowledge of building trades, and how to push projects
  • Good safety & company system management skills
  • Above average computer literacy
