Well-known commercial specialist builder requires a contract site manager for an initial 10-week project in Collins St.
Working as the No.1 site manager, you will be tasked with running a challenging $2.3m multi-level spec suite fit out.
Supported by a site-based CA and PM, you’ll be responsible for managing all site operations, subcontractors, safety protocols, and ensuring quality and timelines are met on a complex, detailed project.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing high-end commercial fit outs
- Proven track record of delivering multi-level fit outs in live or high-traffic environments
- Ability to lead site teams, coordinate trades, and liaise with project management
- Strong understanding of programming, sequencing, and defect-free delivery
- High attention to detail with premium joinery and finishes
- Well-versed in Melbourne CBD building regulations and site logistics
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the fit out project, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
