Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer - Civil Infrastructure (Defence Project)

�� Long-Term Defence Infrastructure Program
A leading civil contractor has secured a prestigious Defence infrastructure project on Garden Island and is seeking experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join the delivery team.
This is a long-term program of works with multiple future scopes scheduled over the coming years, offering the opportunity to work on a high-profile Defence project with strong career stability and progression.
The Roles:
Working as part of a high-performing project team, you will play a key role in delivering complex in-ground services and telecommunications infrastructure across the project.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering works while ensuring safety, quality and programme objectives are met in a live Defence environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Due to Defence security requirements, candidates must:
Senior Project Engineer: $145,000 - $185,000 + Super + 5% Project Uplift
Project Engineer: $110,000 - $145,000 + Super + 5% Project Uplift

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of in-ground electrical services and telecommunications infrastructure
- Coordination of subcontractors and site teams
- Short-term planning, cost control and progress reporting
- Management of RFIs, variations and design coordination
- Ensuring compliance with Defence standards, safety requirements and project specifications
- Supporting project managers with programme and delivery objectives
- Civil Engineering background with a main contractor
- Demonstrated experience delivering in-ground services, electrical infrastructure and telecommunications scopes
- Experience working on civil infrastructure or utilities projects
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or similar) or relevant tertiary qualification
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Ability to work within strict compliance and safety environments
Due to Defence security requirements, candidates must:
- Be an Australian Citizen or Dual Citizen (Australia / NZ / USA / UK / Canada)
- Be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
- Be willing to complete extensive Defence employment screening
- Be located within a reasonable commuting distance of the Rockingham area
Senior Project Engineer: $145,000 - $185,000 + Super + 5% Project Uplift
