Opportunity
 
One of Australia’s leading and best-known retail builders require an immediate contract site manager for a high-profile back-to-base build project ($6M) in Albury, Wodonga. 

Known for their integrity, leadership and excellence; this is a great opportunity for an experienced No.1 site manager to join an award-winning builder on what will more than likely be the first of many ongoing regional contract roles.

With accommodation provided, the successful candidate will be entrusted to deliver a challenging and layered project, start to finish, for one of the industry's best-known builders.
  
Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in retail and live-environment projects, highly desirable
  • Comfortable and confident in both structures and fit out
  • Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable
 
Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain smooth project flow
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones are met
  • Resolve any on-site issues promptly and efficiently
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all work adheres to project specifications and regulations
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation
