Our Client:
 
Our client is a state-wide Government organisation within the Transport sector who have expressed interest in a site engineer to support upcoming Road safety upgrade projects across South Coast NSW.

The role:
 
You will be responsible for managing the project and development process including the scoping of work, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and delivery team to ensure nominate road, bridge or traffic infrastructure and/or maintenance projects are developed and delivered to agree time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
 
Projects you will be working on will include road network upgrades such as re-sealing, crash barrier repairs, shoulder widening and paving works on a locally based road network. 
This is initially a long term role of 12 months with view of an extension or permanent role.

The projects will be on the South Coast NSW from Wollongong to Bega so based anywhere in this region is essential as site visits will take place. 
They offer flexible working from home and in the multiple offices dotted along the South Coast region. 

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of years’ 1 experience in the delivery/development of road & bridge maintenance or construction projects  
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in road construction
• Good communication skills and able to deal with internal stakeholders and project team
• Knowledge of TfNSW/RMS processes and procedures would be an advantage
