Site Engineer - Night Shift | Road Infrastructure Upgrade
Location: North Western Sydney
Start: ASAP
Hours: Sunday to Thursday | 7:30pm Prestart - 5:00am
Duration: Short Term Contract (Initial 2 months) with view to extend 4-6 months
 
We're recruiting for a Night Shift Site Engineer to join a major road infrastructure upgrade project in North Western Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced civil delivery team on a live project, with scope to extend based on performance and project needs.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting night shift delivery of civil works including road widening, services relocations, drainage and pavement works
• Coordinating subcontractors and overseeing nightly progress against program
• Managing and updating ITPs, QA documentation and site diaries
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements during night works
• Attending prestart and handover meetings and ensuring clear communication between day and night crews

Ideal Candidate:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Previous experience on road or civil infrastructure projects essential
• Proven experience working night shifts preferred
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain high standards under minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
