Site Engineer - Road Infrastructure Project (Western Sydney)
 
Position: Site Engineer
Location: Western Sydney
Contract: Temporary (3-4 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Employer: Principal Contractor
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring project timelines are met
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with design specifications
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring safety and environmental protocols are strictly followed
• Monitor progress, manage project documentation, and provide technical support to ensure efficient project delivery
• Work closely with senior engineers and site supervisors to solve on-site issues quickly and effectively

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 2+ years' experience in civil infrastructure, preferably in road construction
• Strong understanding of Australian standards and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
