CGC Recruitment are working in collaboration with a leading commercial construction contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation, who are seeking a skilled Site Engineer their team on a newly awarded building construction project, valued over $150m.  

The Role - Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful execution of the construction project.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations and timely delivery of materials.
• Resolve technical issues, challenges, and conflicts that may arise during construction, providing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, drawings, and construction schedules.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. 
• Prior experience as a Site Engineer or Project Coordinator on commercial construction projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically in fast-paced construction environments.
