My client is currently looking for a Lead Track Engineer to join their Sydney Office
 
Their Australasian infrastructure team is a recognised Tier 1 consultant to the rail industry, working on some of the most challenging and interesting rail infrastructure projects in Australia today.
 
The Rail team within their Sydney office is seeking a Senior Track Engineer who can strengthen our existing track skills capabilities to complement our other well-established disciplines.
 
Responsibilities include.
•    Manage and contribute to the delivery of track design drawings and reports throughout the engineering process from project inception and business case development, through detailed design to delivery and construction phase services
•    Undertake checking, verification and independent review roles on track designs by others
•    Take accountability for the Safety in Design of track deliverables
•    Contribute to project sustainability outcomes by providing support and knowledge related to the design of track alignments and selection or specification of track components.
 
What will you bring?
•    Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
•    Ability to undertake project and technical analyses, and report on results
•    Relevant experience in the consulting engineering environment, including proven ability to liaise with and advise clients on safe, cost-effective, and sustainable engineering solutions
•    Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines related to track design and including OH&S requirements for design
•    Experience in Bentley MicroStation, Bentley RailTrack or PowerRail sufficient to interrogate designs is advantageous
