The Role

This award winning engineering consultancy require an experienced Senior Structural Drafter to join their busy and professional team who are at the forefront of the design industry.  Joining on an initial 2 month contract, this role could potentially turn into a permanent position.

This role will suit an individual currently operating as a Senior or someone who is ready to take that next step in their career.

The Responsibilities
 
As a senior structural drafter you will take responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects across a number of disciplines, which will include staff leadership tasks. Utilising your strong Revit skills, you will be responsible for designing:
 
• Public buildings
• Residential buildings
• Commercial buildings
• Retail buildings
• Industrial buildings
 
The Requirements
 
This position requires an individual who possesses:
• An extensive background in the structural drafting of projects across a range of building types
• Strong practical knowledge of Revit operating to a high level
• Strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD with at least 5 years of project-based experience
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Structural Drafter / Senior Structural Drafter
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian design standards
• Full working rights in Australia
• You must be currently residing in Australia and be able to attend a face-to-face interview in Sydney within the next few days
