This employee owned, boutique design engineering consultancy, specializes in design and delivering complex infrastructure, buildings, renewable energy and defense projects across Australia and New Zealand. The business has since seen fantastic growth within WA, due to the strength of long-term client relationships combined with their fantastic technical expertise. 

Primary purpose of the role 
Due to strategic growth, they have an immediate requirement for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their thriving team and be involved with delivering a number of key projects. It is an exciting opportunity to work for a supportive company who are at the forefront of design. 
 
The Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a number of building projects to ensure that they are completed on-time, to budget and to the specific design specifications of the project. You will be expected to take ownership of these projects and to liaise with key stakeholders, such as clients, drafters and senior management.


Mandatory skills, experience and requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Structures)
• A minimum of 6 years local experience in Australia in the design of residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use buildings.
• Have a proven track record of managing and delivering projects
• Experience in managing medium to large scale projects from concept to Completion, whilst  managing junior members of Staff. 
• Experience with ETABS, RAPT, Space Gass/Microstran 
• Must have Australian working rights
