We are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join a dynamic building services consultancy based in Perth. The role offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of a diverse portfolio of fit-out and refurbishment projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the hydraulic design and documentation for building fit-out projects, from concept through to construction.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, and technical specifications in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and codes.
- Coordinate closely with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and project managers to deliver fully integrated design solutions.
- Undertake site inspections, provide construction support, and ensure quality control across all hydraulic services deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Engage directly with clients and builders to ensure project outcomes meet design intent, budget, and compliance requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 6-10 years' experience in hydraulic services design within a consulting environment.
- Proven track record delivering fit-out or refurbishment projects(commercial offices, education, or healthcare preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge across potable water, sanitary, stormwater, gas, and fire hydrant systems.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for hydraulic design and coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
