Project Engineer - Civil & Pavements
Location: Adelaide / Regional SA
 
A leading Australian main contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to join their civil and pavements team, delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects across South Australia. Projects include earthworks, drainage, culverts, intersection upgrades, road construction, and rehabilitation.
 
The Role:

• Manage and deliver civil construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Oversee metro and regional works (approx. 40% metro / 60% regional).
• Regional projects operate on 11/3 or 11/4 roster patterns, with LAFA, meals, accommodation, and uplifts for weekend work provided.
• Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

About You:

• Proven experience with Australian main contractors delivering civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of road construction, drainage, earthworks, and related civil works.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, travel to regional sites, and work in a FIFO capacity if interstate.

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Salary: $118,000 - $152,000 base (dependent on experience) + super
• Vehicle: Tool of trade vehicle or car allowance
