We are looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join our client, an NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.

• 7 month contract opportunity with NSW State Government
• Earn $520 per day + super 
• Working from their Parramatta Offices and WFH

Key accountabilities:

• Undertake and lead specialist analysis, research and evaluation projects, to assess the impact of policy proposals, and program and service design and delivery initiatives.
• Identify and define emerging issues which impact on the achievement of the Department's and the Government’s objectives
• Design and implement tools and processes to identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to AHO policy development, program and service design and service delivery.
• Maintain and enhance in-depth knowledge of analysis, research and evaluation methodologies and techniques that will ensure  the Department's services are delivered efficiently and that client and business outcomes are measured and reported.
• Provide proactive and evidence-based advice to the business unit leader, Director and/or the Chief Executive as analysis and research projects are developed and implemented to ensure that the methodology is robust and will contribute to the identification, monitoring and improvement of client outcomes. Research and prepare advice in the form of briefs, policy and discussion papers in response to Ministerial requests

Key skills and experience to be successful:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential. 
• Exercise discretion and maintaining confidentiality in handling critical and sensitive information.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages 
• Australian working rights 
• MUST BE DOUBLE VACCINATED
