CGC Recruitment are working with an existing client who due to internal changes have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join the business on a full time basis. 
 
This National Mid Tier Civil contractor focus on D&C and Construct only projects consisting of Gas, Facilities, Pipelines, Water, Sewer, Electrical, Substations, Transmission mains up to 330kV, Civil, Road, Rail, Infrastructure and Remediation across QLD, ACT and NSW.
 
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for duties such as preparing, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Scope of works includes; In-ground services, WTP, STP, Pipelines, Ground works etc.
 
The role is a permanent position with projects based towards the Logan region and will be delivering packages of work from $500k-$10ml. You will be involved in full lifestyle project delivery from pre-contracts/estimating right through to final handover, giving the right candidate a pathway to Project Management. We are looking to speak to Project Engineers with the following experience;
 
- Minimum 6 years post graduate experience
- Must have Utilities experience particularity around STP and ATP   
- Come from a Mid-Tier contracting background
- Capable of working with self-performing crews
- Driven and career motivated 
- Ability to make key decisions
