About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing safety compliance across multiple sites, working closely with project teams to identify risks, implement procedures, and maintain a positive safety culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety inductions
- Review and update safety documentation and procedures
- Support project teams in hazard identification and risk mitigation
- Investigate incidents and maintain accurate reporting records
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the business
- Proven experience in a Safety Officer or HSE role within commercial construction or fitout
- Strong understanding of NSW WHS regulations and best practice
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites or projects
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Relevant safety qualifications (Cert IV in WHS or equivalent)
- Work for a reputable Tier 3 builder with a $50M turnover and a strong project pipeline
- Salary will be pro-rata on $130K - $140K
