Safety Advisor OR Snr Safety Advisor - Civil Infrastructure Project (Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join a major civil infrastructure project on an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is starting ASAP and will suit a proactive safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

We are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join a major civil infrastructure project on an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is starting ASAP and will suit a proactive safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site WHS support across civil construction activities
- Implement and maintain safety management systems in line with legislative and project requirements
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Support project teams with safety planning, SWMS, JHAs, and toolbox talks
- Monitor compliance and promote a strong safety culture across the workforce
- Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, and management to drive safe outcomes
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor on civil infrastructure or heavy construction projects
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and civil construction hazards
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
- White Card (essential)
- 4 months + contract with potential extension
