Our client, a leading Tier 1 civil contractor, has recently been awarded a $200M+ water pipeline infrastructure project in North West Sydney. With works ramping up, they are seeking an experienced Day Shift Safety Advisor to join the team and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations on site.

The Project

A major water pipeline project involving complex excavation, trenching, and environmental management. Safety is front and centre from day one.

Location: Sydney Metro (site-based)
Project Type: Major Water Pipeline - Civil Infrastructure

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager and HSEQ Manager, you will provide hands-on WHS support during day shift operations, ensuring the site exceeds safety and compliance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain site-specific WHS management plans
• Conduct daily pre-starts, inspections, and toolbox talks
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
• Deliver safety inductions and training
• Drive continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture

About You

• Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
• Proven experience on large-scale civil or water projects
• Strong working knowledge of NSW WHS legislation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proactive and visible on site
• Current driver's licence and full working rights in Australia
