My client is seeking applications from experienced HSE Advisors for an immediate start to work on a 3 week shutdown project in Brisbane.

Supporting the Projects Team you will be, assisting in safely executing shutdown works.

These roles are critical to ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance during high-risk maintenance and shutdown activities.


The Role

• Provide on-site HSE support during shutdowns, including inductions, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations, audits, and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Promote a positive safety culture through leadership, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with project supervisors, contractors, and client representatives to maintain alignment on safety expectations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of site-based HSE experience, ideally within mining or shutdown environments.
• Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (WHS).
• Q Vaccination Needed 
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Construction White Card.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for someone to start on the 31st July for an initial 3-week duration, so is an ideal role for a Safety professional who is in between projects and looking for an immediate start.
