CGC Recruitment are experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main and mid-tier Civil Contractors in QLD and Nationally across Australia. We have again been engaged by our key Tier 1 client to provide a Safety Adviser on a short-term basis on major infrastructure project.
 
The team is a well-established team who require extra horsepower on the safety side during the final stages of construction. Reporting to the Safety Manager you will be responsible work health and safety management plans, provide proactive safety advice to site management and engineering staff.
 
The project is an Iconic Water Infrastructure project in Central QLD so the site is running a 10/4 FIFO roster from Brisbane Airport with flights, accommodation and meals provided as well as travel in the client's time.
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Safety Adviser role 
- Must possess demonstrated experience in Civil Construction
- Open and experienced working in a remote environment
- Tier 1 Contracting experience is preferred
- Clear confident communicator 
 
The role is an immediate start for a 3 month contract and we are open to PAYG, ABN or Ltd Company basis. As of the nature of the project applicants should be able to start immediately.
