CGC Recruitment have partnered with a Mid-Tier Contractor who are growing rapidly with recently secured projects ranging from the Gold Coast to as North as Mackay. There expertise involves Civil Construction, Demolition, Asbestos Removal and Deep Excavation.

Due to recent project wins and internal growth they have identified the need for a Safety Adviser to provide site based safety support across a number of existing project and also ensure safety plans and practices are implemented correctly during project start ups. The role will be a mix of office based with regular site visits and expected to produce work health and safety management plans, provide proactive safety advice to site management and engineering staff and implement and maintain a safety management system focusing on contractor management.

- Minimum 5 years in an on site safety role 

- 10 years total civil construction experience 

- Must posses a sound knowledge of heavy civil construction projects (Demo, Basement Digs, Asbestos Removal etc)

- Clear communicator to implement safety practices on site 

The role is a full time position with a growing SE QLD Civil Contractor and will offer long term stability and an opportunity to work as part on a tried and tested site team on projects up to $10ml.
