Job description

Our client is a specialist rail contractor who focus's on track construction and maintenance projects across Australia. They have recently been awarded a number of Rail Infrastructure upgrade projects to the value of $500k-3ml ml and are now actively looking for both Project Engineer join the business on a full time basis to assist in the deliverer of existing packages of work and also assist in strategic tenders across QLD and NSW.

Reporting into General Manager on day to day basis you will be expected to deliver a program of various track related Engineering projects (Re-Railing, Ballast Cleaning, welding, Turnout intallation ect). You will be responsible the preparation of project plans & schedules, the estimation of plant, materials & labour undertake 3rd party verification of constructed works. In addition to this you will be responsible for preparation of project management documentation and managing of work-site OH&S.

They currently have openings based out of both either there SEQ offices with shutdown work in regional areas to be expected which would included a site based uplift when working away.

We are actively looking to speak to experienced Engineers who have a proven background in the delivery of Track Upgrades within the Rail Corridor who posses the following background:

- Hold a tertiary qualification in relevant engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience related to track construction works. 
- Must have experience in Turnout installation and refurbishments 
- Expereicne installing New Rails, New Concrete Sleepers, New ballast etc 
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a close environment
