Job description

Our client is a privately owned development company and are specialists in large scale residential projects. With over 150 employees, strong traction, and a growing pipeline in the private sector, they are looking to appoint a Property Analyst to support front end development activities. 

You will:
  • Run feasibilities for new acquisitions and work closely with key partners in the business to refine the analysis and form an investment thesis
  • Run and maintain the in-house financial models for existing developments, update them regularly with changing market conditions, and reflect changes in budgets, designs, and assumptions
  • Prepare and deliver internal and external reports with key financial and operational metric analysis
  • Assist in due diligence activities and preparing detailed reports and quality control activities
  • Assist in negotiations and preparation of documentation with sales and leasing agents, terms of agreement, lease, and sale/purchase documentation from commencement through to completion
  • Assist in the preparation of development appraisals and feasibility studies on sites suitable for development
  • Research, draft, collate, coordinate, plan, schedule, and prepare a range of reports and project activities
  • Track a range of property data including vacancy, construction and sales and leasing transactions
  • Assist in site identification and feasibility studies for potential projects
  • Research and analyses comparable development site sales and investments to identify relevant trends
You will have: 
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, economics or related 
  • 5+ years financial analyst experience 
  • Construction, development and real estate industry knowledge 
  • Financial modelling and analysis experience 
  • High level of numeracy and analysis capability 
  • A keen financial acumen and an analytical mind
