An exciting opportunity exists to join a proudly Australian-owned global retailer that designs, develops and delivers its projects entirely in-house.

Over the past decade, this business has experienced rapid yet steady growth, expanding its footprint nationally and internationally while maintaining strong operational control and brand consistency. With a significant pipeline of new stores and refurbishments, they are seeking a Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager to join their lean, high-performing development & construction team.

The Role
Working client-side, you will take ownership of projects across:
  • New builds
  • High-quality complex fit-outs
  • Refurbishments and store upgrades
You will operate in a fast-paced, complex retail environment where speed to market, cost control and brand execution are critical. This role offers full lifecycle exposure from feasibility through to design, construction and then handover.

Salary - $150,000 - $180,000 + super
Location – Sydney CBD

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end project management on behalf of the client (internal)
  • Contract administration and superintendent responsibilities
  • Managing tender processes and contractor engagement
  • Construction planning, programming and budget control
  • Coordinating consultants, designers and builders
  • Driving programme, cost and quality outcomes across multiple concurrent projects
  • In this role, you will have a central office in Sydney CBD and will be required to travel to sites across NSW
About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager (or Senior PM) in retail, hospitality or commercial construction
  • Minimum 5 years of Construction industry experience & min 3 years as a Project Manager 
  • Strong construction background (builder, CA, or contractor-side PM highly regarded)
  • Experience delivering new builds and fit outs
  • Confident in managing contracts, variations and commercial risk
  • Able to thrive in a lean team environment with high accountability
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or design is highly desirable
